Makes enough for 10 guests

For the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar

Ingredients for the Drink (yields 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Method

For the Cordial: Combine all the components into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Next, take off the burner and leave to cool completely. Pour to a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for around a month.

For the Premix: Mix the specified liquids in a large bottle, let it rest for an hour, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the batch mix to a stirring glass filled with ice, and stir gently for one minute to cool it down. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries and finish using a quick spritz of the essential oil over the drink.
